A renowned herbal infusion and a distinctive symbol of the Czech Republic. Originating in 1807 as a remedy for promoting digestion and strengthening immunity, the drink has now garnered global fame, chiefly due to its exceptional taste. The recipe is kept in the strictest secrecy, known only to two individuals. All that is known is that more than 20 herbs and extracts are required for crafting the beverage: ¾ are imported, while the rest are gathered directly in Karlovy Vary.
