Grape varieties: Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio. A refined medium-bodied wine crafted from grapes that hold the second-highest planted area in Sicily. The drink captivates with its flavor and aroma from the very first sip. The grapes grow on the northern slopes of Mount Etna at an altitude of 600 meters above sea level. The age of the grapevines ranges from 40 to 80 years. Harvesting is done manually in mid-October. The grapes undergo a delicate pressing and 18 days of skin maceration. Malolactic fermentation occurs naturally. The wine is aged for 3 months in lightly toasted French oak barrels.
