Single malt whisky from the Isle of Islay, aged for no less than 10 years in oak barrels using an ancient recipe. In 2008, the spirit was titled “Whisky of the Year” by Jim Murray, the creator of the “Whisky Bible.” This malt is the source of an unforgettable aroma. “Ardbeg” is considered one of the smokiest and peatiest types of whisky, as the phenolic compound content in the drink reaches a maximum of 50 mg (compared to the standard 20-35 mg in other island whiskies).
