The recipe for this beverage was created as early as the 13th century, yet contemporary brewers craft this masterpiece using cutting-edge equipment while staying true to traditional methods. The beer is crafted from purified drinking water, light barley malt, wheat, caramel, spices (orange peel, coriander), and one of the best varieties of Alsace hops, Strisselspalt, which creates a refined aroma.
