In the production of this whiskey, the ratio of rye, which existed before the introduction of the dry law - 53% - is observed. In this way, they pay homage to the original rye whiskeys in history with a distinct taste, making spices and tobacco the dominant notes among fruity, floral and sweet aromas. In 2016, the drink won the "Best in Class" gold medal and the "Whiskey of the World" gold medal at the World Spirits Competition in San Francisco. In 2020, Woodford Reserve Rye once again confirmed its quality and excellence by winning a gold medal at the World Spirits Competition in San Francisco.
